BPW Business Incubator Project
Empowering Women, Elevating Businesses, Inspiring Global Impact
With over five decades in the Australian and global small business and fashion industries, Carol Hanlon has championed entrepreneurship through numerous award-winning initiatives. Starting her career with the successful launch of her own fashion label in 1974, Carol later established two influential non-profits: the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre (Belmont BEC) and the Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre WA (TCFWA). Through these organisations, she has supported over 35,000 small businesses worldwide, offering resources, training, and mentoring.
Carol’s commitment to empowering women in business led to the creation of the BPW Business Incubator, a global program dedicated to training and supporting female entrepreneurs. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including WA Women’s Hall of Fame and Top 50 Small Business Leader in Australia.
The Awards provide recognition and encouragement for small business achievements and will be
open for small businesses, individuals and organisations in Belmont, Perth metropolitan area and
across regional Western Australia from June 30th until the 20th of September 2021.
